Official English Editions

The English-language publishing programme uses its own titles and publication schedule:

  1. The Full Moon Coffee Shop (2024)
  2. Best Wishes from the Full Moon Coffee Shop
  3. Dreamers of the Full Moon Coffee Shop (2026)

The third English-language volume was published by Ballantine Books on 25 August 2026, translated by Jordan Taylor.

Because the Japanese and English publication schedules differ, readers should avoid assuming that the English publication year matches the original Japanese release.

Recommended Reading Order

For English-language readers:

  1. The Full Moon Coffee Shop
  2. Best Wishes from the Full Moon Coffee Shop
  3. Dreamers of the Full Moon Coffee Shop

For readers with access to the original Japanese books, the eight-volume publication order above is recommended.

Although individual stories can be enjoyed independently, publication order provides a natural introduction to the café and its recurring magical atmosphere.

🇷🇴 Romanian Translations

Cafeneaua Lună plină

  • Original title: 満月珈琲店の星詠み
  • English title: The Full Moon Coffee Shop
  • Romanian title: Cafeneaua Lună plină
  • Original publication: 2020
  • Romanian publisher: Humanitas Fiction
  • Romanian publication: 2025
  • Translator: Mihaela Albulescu
  • Illustrations: Chihiro Sakurada

This Romanian edition introduces readers to the mysterious café and its feline staff.

The title Cafeneaua Lună plină: Adevăratele dorințe is mentioned in the Romanian publisher’s author biography as the translated name of the second Japanese work. That reference alone does not establish that a Romanian edition of volume two has been published, so it is not listed as a separate Romanian edition here.
