🦋 Elizabeth Lim on BookFairy
The Dragon’s Promise — BookFairy Review
In my review of The Dragon’s Promise, I explore Elizabeth Lim’s expansion of the mythology established in Six Crimson Cranes.
I particularly enjoyed Shiori’s character development, the atmosphere created by the dragons and ancient magic, and the way the novel gradually establishes its own fantasy identity.
Although some sections of the story move more slowly, the sequel remains an imaginative and emotionally engaging continuation of Shiori’s journey.
